Call For Papers



The 9th Joint Workshop on Machine Perception and Robotics (MPR2013) will be held at Ritsumeikan University, Japan, from October 31 to November 1, 2013. 

The workshop is co-sponsored by

     Ritsumeikan University (Shiga, Japan)

     Peking University (Beijing, China)

     Kyushu University (Fukuoka, Japan) 


The purpose of the workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners from the three universities, so that they can exchange their knowledge and stimulate each other through intensive discussions mainly (but not limited to) the research topics listed below.

     Image Processing and Analysis

     Machine Vision and Application

     Speech Processing

     Robotics and Application

     Internet Technology and Visualization


Paper Submission:

The papers will be presented in either oral or poster presentation. The deadline for paper title registration is August 30 (Fri), 2013. Please specify the presentation type and submit the paper title in the following form via e-mail to

The camera-ready paper has to be in English, and at most 8 pages for oral presentation, 1 page abstract or at most 6 pages for poster presentation.
